Why it’s the new must-have (what people are loving) Health-first formulation: Korean lash lifts commonly use cysteamine, described as a gentler alternative to traditional solutions that often use thioglycolic acid (TGA), with a slower processing time that can reduce the risk of overprocessing. More even, glossy results: Cysteamine-based products are often paired with conditioning ingredients (like keratin, peptides, hyaluronic acid) to support a shinier, healthier-looking finish. Precision technique + customisation: The Korean method puts more emphasis on lash assessment and tailoring shields/shape to the client’s lash direction and eye shape—so it looks modern and not “over-curled.” Why it’s replacing the older technique (what clients/techs didn’t love before) Traditional lifts can be harsher and less forgiving: Older methods typically rely on TGA-based solutions, which can be more aggressive and require tighter timing control to avoid dryness, kinked tips, or irritation.
